Silver Spring Township supervisors to vote on conservation easement purchase, surety bond for transformer transport
The Silver Spring Township Board of Supervisors plans to vote on a surety bond for any potential damage caused by the transportation of a PPL transformer through the township, at a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at the administrative building, 8 Flowers Drive.
The agenda also includes a presentation by the Future Farmers of America in regard to the agricultural issues associated with fracking, and a vote on the purchase of a conservation easement through the township's land preservation program.
